- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆March 09, 2019, by Amanda AndersonI agree with Char Leone. I have 2 blankets and a throw that I received as gifts. I have never used any of them. These blankets and throws are notorious for pilling and it is expensive to have them cleaned and depilled. You cannot wash these blankets like you would a regular blanket. If you put them in a washing machine and agitate the blanket (meaning you let it go through a wash cycle) you will felt the blanket and ruin it. A person would be better off purchasing a handmade quilt than a wool blanket from this company. If you have pets you DEFINITELY do NOT want a blanket from this company. Your cat will LOVE clawing at the wool and dogs LOVE to chew on these blankets. This company can do their best to repair the damage, but again it is VERY costly.
